Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Nov. 16.

The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Nov. 10: A purse was reported lost at Winthrop House. A motor vehicle was reported stolen at Peabody Terrace Garage. An officer assisted drivers in exchanging information following a motor vehicle accident at Weld Boathouse. At 25 Travis St., an officer observed a stolen vehicle. The occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled in another vehicle. HUPD and the Boston Police Department searched the area but could not locate the second vehicle.

Nov. 11: An officer assisted drivers in exchanging information following a motor vehicle accident at the Warren Alpert Building. A report of identity theft was filed at HUPD. Officers assisted Cambridge Police with a motor vehicle accident on Garden Street.

Nov. 12: An attempted break-in of a filing cabinet was reported at Sever Hall.

Nov. 13: A suspicious e-mail was reported at Byerly Hall. An officer was flagged down on Memorial Drive to a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist. Cambridge Fire Department and an ambulance transported the victim to Mt. Auburn Hospital. An officer was dispatched to the Yard to take a report of an unarmed robbery. Harassing e-mails were reported at Dunster House.

Nov. 14: An unauthorized person who entered the Dillon Field House through a window was issued a trespass warning for all University property and escorted off the property. A wallet was reported lost at Sever Hall. A report of an armed robbery was reported at the Yard dorms. An officer was dispatched to the Greenhouse Café on the report of an individual behaving suspiciously. The individual, who was identified as someone who had previously been issued a trespass warning, was placed under arrest for trespassing and resisting arrest.

Nov. 15: A cellular phone was reported lost at Malkin Athletic Center. Money was reported stolen from the Warren Alpert Building. A wallet was reported stolen from the Taubman Center. A bicycle was reported stolen from Adams House. A report of a motor vehicle accident involving a University vehicle and a parked vehicle was reported at 17 Everett St. An officer was dispatched on the report of an assault by means of a dangerous weapon. The victim reported that he was harassed and threatened with a knife by eight juveniles. The juveniles were detained and identified by the victim at the Church Street T stop. One juvenile was placed under arrest for assault with a dangerous weapon and threats to commit a crime.

Nov. 16: A laptop was reported stolen from the Pound Building. At HUPD, officers assisted a party in requesting an emergency restraining order. The order was granted. Officers later served the emergency restraining order at Currier House. A report of harassment was filed at Vanderbilt Hall. Audiovisual and computer equipment was reported stolen from Sever Hall.
