Common Spaces returns chairs to the Yard

Take a seat! Those colorful, inviting chairs that dotted Harvard Yard last spring have returned by way of the Common Spaces Chairs Project, a Harvard initiative designed to encourage community building in and around the Yard.

Besides signaling spring, the chairs also kick off a series of events this month through April 28. On Friday (April 8), Sonia Carrion, an artist, musician, and producer, will perform a set of original music, mixing piano, synthesizers, laptops, and performance art outside of Dudley Hall/Lehman plaza.

Harvard’s Center for Wellness has also collaborated with the project to bring tai chi and yoga to the Yard throughout the month of April.
