Faculty Council meeting held Dec. 1

At its 7th meeting of the year on Dec. 1, the Faculty Council approved the Harvard Summer School Courses for Instruction for 2011. They also heard a review of the A.M. program in music with a specialty in performance practice, a proposal to change the name of the Department of Sanskrit and Indian Studies, and a report on the findings of the Library Implementation Work Group.

The Council next meets on Jan. 26.  The preliminary deadline for the regular meeting of the faculty on Feb. 1 is Jan. 17.
