Ashford Fellowship Program thrives

1 min read

For the past five years, some of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences’ (GSAS) brightest Ph.D. students have joined Theodore H. Ashford ’58 and his sons Theodore III ’86 and Timothy ’88 in celebration. The Theodore H. Ashford Graduate Fellowships in the Sciences and the Theodore H. Ashford Dissertation Fellowships in the Humanities and Social Sciences have supported 26 students in fields ranging from biophysics to film and visual studies. On Dec. 7, the fellows, past and present, gathered with GSAS Dean Allan M. Brandt and Administrative Dean Margot Gill at the Harvard Faculty Club to discuss their work — in the company of the family who is making it possible.
