Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending May 12. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

May 8: A fire extinguisher was reported stolen from the Holyoke Center parking garage. Laptops were reported stolen from the Tosteson Medical Education Center and the Bauer Life Sciences Building. A book bag containing a checkbook and laptop was reported stolen from Shad Hall.

May 9: Harassing phone calls were reported received at Morgan Hall. Two unattended laptops were reported stolen from Fairchild Biochemistry Building.

May 10: Officers were dispatched to North Hall on a report of an unwanted guest in the building. Officers located the individual, who was intoxicated, and conducted a field interview. The individual was checked for wants and warrants with negative results and then placed under arrest for trespassing.

May 11: Officers assisted the Cambridge Police Department with an individual who was assaulted on Plympton Street. Officers report that the individual was walking in the street when a car honked at him. The reporting person said that two individuals then exited the vehicle and assaulted him. A third individual exited the vehicle and attempted to break up the fight. The individuals then left the area. Officers searched the area with negative results.

May 12: An officer was dispatched to 240 Longwood Ave. to take a report of damage done to a laptop. Unattended cash in the amount of $140 was reported stolen at 180 Longwood Ave.
