Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Feb. 19. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Feb. 15: An officer was dispatched to the Holyoke Center to take a report of an individual receiving harassing phone calls. A suspicious individual was reported handing out advertisements around Littauer, KSG. Officers arrived and reported that the individual was gone. A wallet was reported stolen at William James Hall. A cell phone was reported stolen at the Science Center. Officers responded to a report of an individual throwing cans out of a window at the Lampoon building. Officers arrived and spoke to the individual.

Feb. 16: An unattended suitcase was reported in the area of Kresge Building, HSPH. Officers arrived and reported the suitcase was returned to its owner. An individual was arrested for trespassing at the Holyoke Center. Officers were dispatched to Longwood Campus Operations to take a report of an individual who made threats to two other individuals. The individual was issued a trespass warning for all Harvard University property and was escorted off the property. A wallet was reported stolen from the Holyoke Center.

Feb. 17: A person was reported yelling and waving their arms in the air around Kirkland St./Quincy St. Officers were dispatched to the area and after getting the person to stop yelling and sit down, they noticed scratches on the individual’s face. When they attempted to inspect the injuries, the individual tried to strike the officers and struggled and resisted. The individual was placed under arrest after a short struggle. Officers were dispatched to a report of a fight in progress at Cabot House. Officers were informed that an altercation broke out after music was turned off at a party. The group was gone when officers arrived but there were two broken window panes and blood on the carpet and walls. FMO responded to secure the windows. A suspicious package was reported at the Medical School’s New Research Building. Officers arrived and reported the item was trash.

Feb. 18: Suspicious individuals were reported near Pennypacker Hall. Officers reported the individuals gone on their arrival. An individual reported their cell phone was taken from their hand when they were attempting to mediate a fight at Currier House. While on scene the officer was approached by another individual who said there was a fight in progress. Additional units arrived and officers observed two individuals being restrained by several other individuals. The group was moved outside and the situation was resolved. Five wallets were reported stolen from Memorial Church. A GPS navigation system was stolen from a motor vehicle in the North Hall lot at 1645 Mass. Ave. Two windows were broken at Bertram Hall. A bag containing a cell phone, digital camera, keys, and a watch was reported stolen from Loeb Drama Center.

Feb. 19: A suspicious individual was reported going into the bushes by Boylston Gate. Officers searched the area for the individual with negative results. A noise complaint and fight in progress were reported at Holmes Hall. Officers arrived and observed two individuals in a heated argument. One individual continued to yell after repeated instruction to lower their voice and was placed under arrested for disorderly conduct. An unattended piece of luggage was reported by Sever Gate. An officer located the owner of the luggage.
