Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending April 17. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www. hupd.harvard.edu/.

April 12: Annoying phone calls were reported received at Pierce Hall. Officers were dispatched to Newell Boathouse to take a report of an attempted breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. Nothing was reported stolen at the time the report was filed. An unattended pocketbook was reported stolen from Newell Boathouse. Officer assisted the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) in searching the area of 1 Arrow St. for two individuals wanted in connection with a report of larceny.

April 13: A bicycle was reported stolen from Dunster House. A Fisher hybridization unit valued at $2,000 was reported stolen from the Harvard Institutes of Medicine.

April 14: An officer took a report of suspicious activity at the School of Public Health.

April 15: An individual was run for wants and warrants (with negative results) in connection with a report of trespassing at Cabot House. The individual was issued a trespassing warning for all Harvard property and sent on their way. Complaints will be sought. Cash in the amount of $42 was reported stolen from Quincy House Masters’ residence. A digital camera and laptop were reported stolen from Cabot House B. Damage to a motor vehicle in the Shattuck Street lot was reported. At Children’s Hospital Boston, an officer assisted the Boston Police Department with taking a report of a past robbery.

April 16: Vandalism to a doorframe was reported at Leverett House C. Officers were dispatched to the area of Massachusetts Hall on a report of two individuals possibly in an altercation. Officers arrived and conducted field interviews with both individuals. One of the individuals stated that he was struck in the face with a cane by the second individual. After both individuals were run for warrants with negative results, the CPD arrived and placed the offending individual under arrest for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

April 17: Officers were dispatched to Currier House to take a report of a past assault.
