Two Kennedy School alumni appointed to School

John Haigh M.P.P. ’82 has been appointed executive dean at the Kennedy School of Government (KSG). Haigh previously served as senior vice president at Cingular/AT&T Wireless. While a student at KSG, Haigh focused on environmental policies, and following graduation, went on to work in the School’s Energy and Environment Policy Center. As executive dean, Haigh will serve on the Dean’s Leadership Team to manage day-to-day operations of the School.

Melodie L. Jackson M.P.A. ’01 will join the School as director of communications and public affairs. Jackson is currently senior vice president and director of public affairs at Citizens Bank of Massachusetts. She has an extensive background in both journalism and public affairs. As director, Jackson will coordinate overall communications strategy at the School, oversee the press and publications departments, and serve as primary spokesperson for the School.
