It’s Tennis Camps season at Harvard

2 min read

The Tennis Camps at Harvard (TCH) will be starting their 14th season on June 14th at the Beren Tennis Center at Soldier’s Field. To check out the camps and sign up online, visit http://www.tenniscampsatharvard.com or call (617) 783-2400 to receive a free brochure.

Many sessions at the camps sell out early. The junior and adult camps both offer a multiple-session discount, and an early sign-up discount is available for the adult camp until May 24.

The Tennis Camps offer adult clinics and workouts weekday evenings and Saturday mornings for both recreational and elite players, from June 14 to Aug. 27. In addition, there are new offerings such as weekday morning and noontime programs, and Saturday one-day tournaments.

Matches and practice partners

Evening Adult Open Play Programs are available to Harvard Summer School and GSAS students, any Harvard affiliate who buys a “summer participation card” at the Murr Center desk (617) 495-3454, or anyone who signs up for two or more adult workouts or clinics.

Junior camps

The junior camps are often waitlisted. They are offered for youngsters and teens from 4 to 17, beginning on June 14 and running through Aug. 27. While campers often sign up for multiple weeks, each Monday through Friday session is a complete unit. In addition to the regular Junior Program (7-13 year olds) and the Teen Tennis and Advanced Training Programs (13-17 year olds), TCH is offering the Sports Booster program as an introductory-level program for the 4-6 year-old-group.
