Police log

Following are some the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Saturday, March 9. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

March 3: An officer was dispatched to a barrel fire located on the 11th floor of Mather House Tower. Two individuals will be summonsed to court on charges of arson. A threatening e-mail was reported at a Yard dorm.

March 5: Vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported at the BSCH Lot. A report of a past burglary was reported at Quincy House.

March 6: Bicycle parts were reported stolen in Harvard Yard. Two lockers were broken into at Quadrangle Recreational Athletic Center. Wallets were reported stolen at the Science Center, the Faculty Club, and Hemenway Gym. A report of fraud was filed at Winthrop House. Books were reported stolen from Gutman Library.

March 7: At the Kennedy School, an officer dispatched on the report of vandalism to a parking lot gate apprehended four individuals. All four subjects were issued trespass warnings and one subject will be summonsed to court.

A wallet was reported stolen from the Kennedy School. The fraudulent use of a telephone security code was reported at Currier House.

March 8: A cash register was reported burglarized at the Barker Center. A credit card and a driver’s license were reported stolen from the Goldenson Building. Cash was reported stolen from 175 N. Harvard St.

March 9: A book chute was reported damaged at Lamont Library. An officer was dispatched to Adams House to file a report of a sexual assault. The incident is under investigation by HUPD’s Criminal Investigations Unit.
