Dental School offers free screenings

Harvard School of Dental Medicine is looking for volunteer patients for the Northeast Regional Board exam. Those who qualify will receive free dental treatment, including an examination, X-rays, and referrals to orthodontists, prosthodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons. Screenings run through Monday, April 22.

Dean’s Service Award deadline approaching

The deadline for submitting nominations for the fourth annual Harvard Medical School/Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HMS/HSDM) Dean’s Community Service Award is Friday, March 22.

Faculty, residents, and students at all affiliated institutions are eligible for the award, which recognizes outstanding personal efforts in serving the local, national, and international community.

HRCM marks 30 years with Bach concert

The Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum (HRCM) will kick off its 30th anniversary reunion weekend on Friday, March 8, with a performance of Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion.” The concert, which will feature seven professional soloists, the Orchestra of Emmanuel Music, and HRCM, will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Sanders Theatre.

Tickets are $18, $22, and $26 for general admission, and $9, $11, and $13 for students and seniors. Call the Sanders Theatre Box Office at (617) 496-2222 for tickets.

DeWolfe Howe Fund accepting proposals

The Mark DeWolfe Howe Fund for Study and Research in Civil Rights-Civil Liberties and Legal History, is now accepting proposals for the coming summer or 2002-03 academic year. The annual income from the fund, approximately $15,000, will be used to support study and research in civil liberties or Anglo-American legal history in the United States. Students, faculty, officers of administration, and recent graduates of the University are eligible.

Applicants should send a brief written proposal to Professor John H. Mansfield, c/o Susan Norton, Hauser Hall 506, Harvard Law School, Cambridge, MA 02138, by no later than Friday, April 12.
