Police Log

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Saturday, Jan. 13. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.

Jan. 2: A piece of Bolivian cloth on display at the Taubman Center was reported stolen. A painting was reported stolen from Langdell Hall. At Lowell House, a bicycle was reported stolen. Officers responded to a past breaking and entering of a vending machine at the Pforzheimer House.

Jan. 3: A bicycle was reported stolen from Holyoke Center.

Jan. 4: An unknown party removed cash from a first-floor office in the Belfer Center. At the Quincy House, a report of a past larceny was taken.

Jan 5: The door to the lab at William James Hall was kicked open and glass was broken. Detectives were called in to investigate. $153 was reported stolen from a Chase Hall room.

Jan. 6: A vending machine was reported broken into at Holmes Hall.

Jan. 9: At the Malkin Athletic Center, cash was reported stolen from a wallet when an unknown party cut off a lock from a locker.

Jan. 11: A wallet, handbag, and mini-backpack were reported stolen from International Legal Studies at the Law School Library.

Jan. 12: Computer equipment was reported missing at the Belfer Center. A larceny report was filed.

Jan. 13: At Lowell House, an individual with an outstanding warrant was arrested. A wallet was reported stolen from an unattended backpack outside Harvard Hall.
