Police Log

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending April 8. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.

April 2: A knapsack was stolen at a party in Sever Hall.

April 3: Computers were vandalized and speakers were stolen at the Kennedy School. A computer was stolen from 200 Longwood Ave. An individual was arrested for shoplifting at City Sports and for possession of marijuana. A laptop computer was stolen from 230 Western Ave. A palm pilot was stolen from the Alpert Building.

April 4: A caller reported a simple assault; police responded and initiated a criminal investigation. A criminal complaint was filed.

April 5: A wallet was stolen from Gutman Library. A wallet was stolen from Newell Boathouse.

April 6: Items were stolen from an office at 230 Western Ave. A bicycle was damaged at Wigglesworth Hall. Russell and Randolph halls in Adams House were evacuated due to a gas leak; residents were allowed back into dorms after leak was located and fixed.

April 7: A bicycle was stolen from Seeley Mudd Building. Harvard Police assisted Cambridge Police with the arrest of two suspects on Garden Street who were wanted for an armed robbery which occurred earlier on Linnaean Street.

April 8: A computer monitor was stolen from the Alpert Building.
