Police Log

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending March 18. The official log is located at Police Department Headquarters, 29 Garden St.

March 12: A coat was stolen from Harkness Commons. A Palm Pilot computer and credit cards were stolen from the Faculty Club.

March 13: A bicycle was stolen from Larsen Hall.

March 14: A laptop computer was stolen from a room in Cabot House. A car accident occurred near the Alpert Building and an individual who sustained back and neck injuries was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. A wallet was stolen from a patron at Ma Soba.

March 16: A cellular phone was stolen from an office in Holyoke Center. A car was vandalized in the Mill Street lot. A wallet was stolen from an office at 124 Mt. Auburn St. A backpack was stolen from the Peabody Museum. An individual was briefly stuck in an elevator in Byerly Hall until assistance arrived and the person was released.

March 17: Vending machines in the Museum of Comparative Zoology and Mallinckrodt Lab were burglarized. A laptop computer was stolen from Gund Hall. An individual at the Science Center was taken into custody for violating a restraining order. A Walkman and cash were stolen from William James Hall in separate incidents.

March 18: A laptop computer and a wallet were stolen from a room in Currier House. A car parked in Broadway Garage was burglarized. Clothing and flatware were stolen from a residence on Mt. Auburn St. A car was vandalized in Broadway Garage. A laptop computer was stolen from Coolidge Hall. An individual in the Malkin Athletic Center lot was taken into custody for violating the abuse law.
