With a 5-2 victory over Brown on Saturday, Nov. 13, Katey Stone, the Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women’s Hockey, achieved the 500th win of her coaching career, the first female head coach to reach the milestone in women’s hockey.

Under Stone’s leadership, Harvard has won 11 Beanpot titles, seven ECAC Hockey regular-season championships, and eight Ivy League titles. She has also led the Crimson to 11 NCAA Tournament appearances, including six Frozen Fours, in her 27 years as head coach.

Stone, the head coach of the 2014 U.S. Olympic team, was recognized earlier this year with USA Hockey’s Distinguished Achievement Award, the first woman to be so honored.
