Karen DeSalvo named national coordinator for health IT

Department of Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius recently announced the appointment of HSPH alumna Karen DeSalvo, SM ’02, as the next national coordinator for health information technology starting January 13, 2014.

DeSalvo will replace fellow HSPH graduate Farzad Mostashari, SM ’91, who stepped down in October.
