HILT Cultivation Grant application deadline extended

1 min read

The Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT) announced they have extended the Cultivation Grant application submission deadline to Friday, December 13.

Cultivation Grants are awards of $100 – 200K designed to extend promising educational innovations into new intellectual and institutional contexts, and to rigorously investigate the potential of their wide-scale adoption across the University. Primary applicants must be full-time, Harvard University benefits-eligible faculty members. While all proposals will be considered fully, HILT is especially interested in projects that target the following areas:

  • Curricular review and renewal
  • Novel mechanisms for teaching and learning skill development
  • Cross-area educational research

The application review period will take place this winter and early spring. Finalists will present to a faculty selection committee in April before awards are announced in May 2014.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to contact HILT with any questions at HILT_grants@harvard.edu.
