The College Fellows Program of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences is now accepting applications for the 2012-13 academic year. The program is for exceptional scholars who have recently completed doctoral work and have demonstrated excellence in teaching. Fellows teach within an area of specialization while given ample time to pursue their own research, and the program provides fellows with mentoring on both pedagogy and career development. Fellows are full-fledged members of the Harvard community.
The fellowships are one-year positions with the possibility of renewal for one additional year. Fellows are expected to be on campus starting Aug. 15 and receive a salary of $50,300 plus benefits.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent terminal degree by the expected start date. The program is limited to applicants who have received their Ph.D. no earlier than 2008.
