Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending May 15. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.
May 11: Officers were dispatched on a report of a working fire at the Science Center. The fire was caused by a reaction between chemicals. The Cambridge Fire Department was dispatched and extinguished the fire.
May 12: Damage to a motor vehicle was reported at 46 Blackstone St. A camcorder and cash were reported stolen from Dunster House. A wallet was reported stolen from the Harvard Institutes of Medicine. An officer was dispatched to Palace Road lot in Boston on a report of an individual seen vandalizing a parking gate arm. The suspect was located, positively identified, and run for warrants with negative results. The individual was then issued a trespass warning for all University property.
May 14: An officer was dispatched to Eliot House to take a report of a credit card, identification card, and $15 that was stolen from an individual’s wallet. Two laptops were reported stolen from 307 Holden St.
