Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending March 13. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

March 9: Officers assisted the Cambridge and Massachusetts State Police departments with a report of an attempted abduction at 80 John F. Kennedy St. (See community advisory for full report.) Two paintings were reported stolen from Rockefeller Hall. A windowpane and screen were reported damaged at the Barker Center.

March 10: Officers were dispatched to Quincy House on a report of a fire in the basement. Officers arrived and reported that the Cambridge Fire Department had extinguished the fire.

March 11: Vandalism to a card reader was reported at Widener Gate. An unattended iPod was reported stolen from Lowell House dining hall.

March 12: An unattended wallet, laptop computer, and case were reported stolen from Canaday Hall.

March 13: On Soldiers Field Road, officers assisted the Massachusetts State Police with an individual who had gotten into a motor vehicle accident. Harassing telephone calls were reported received at the Dental School. A moped valued at $600 was reported stolen from Gordon Hall. An unattended and unsecured bicycle was reported stolen from Grays Hall.
