The host Harvard men’s hockey team defeated Hockey East foe Maine, 4-1, on Dec. 11 to collect its fifth straight victory of the season and improve to 9-3-1 overall (6-3-1 ECAC; 2-1-1 Ivy). The win was the Crimson’s first against the Black Bears in three seasons. Maine last edged Harvard, 5-4, in the 2004 NCCA Tournament.

Goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris ’04 was named ECAC Player and Goaltender of the Week for his recent efforts, including a season-best 39 saves against the Black Bears.
