Harvard sneaks by Big Green, 13-12

The Harvard defense denied a go-ahead two-point conversion with 2:15 remaining in the fourth quarter to slip past host Dartmouth, 13-12, this past Saturday (Oct. 30). Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick ’05 completed 25 of 41 passes for 300 yards and a touchdown in the win to keep the Crimson unbeaten at 7-0 (4-0 Ivy). The Big Green, meanwhile, remain winless at 0-7 (0-4 Ivy).

Harvard – the nation’s only undefeated team in all of Division 1-AA football – hosts Columbia (1-6; 1-3 Ivy) on Saturday (Nov. 6).

Terriers chew up men’s water polo, 16-5

The Harvard men’s water polo team fell to St. Francis College, 16-5, in the title game of the CWPA Northern Division Championships at Brown on Oct. 31. The 11-8 Crimson will meet Salem International University in Eastern Champs action Nov. 13-14.
