Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Oct. 11. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Oct. 5: Cash receipts were reported missing at the Harvard Institutes of Medicine. An officer was dispatched to a report of an indecent assault and battery near Pennypacker Hall. The victim stated that she was approached from behind by a male riding a bicycle who inappropriately touched her before fleeing the area. Both HUPD and the Cambridge Police Department checked the area with negative results. Cash was reported stolen from a purse at the Faculty Club. On Longwood Avenue, officers assisted the Brookline Police Department in the search of two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the area of the Muddy River.

Oct. 7: Officers were dispatched to the New Research Building on a report of an individual acting suspiciously. Officers located the individual, checked them for warrants with positive results, and placed them under arrest. HUPD was advised of a minor chemical spill at 40 Oxford St. Environmental Health & Safety was notified and the spill was cleaned up.

Oct. 8: Cash from a wallet was reported stolen at the School of Public Health, Building 3. A jacket that contained cash and a Harvard ID was reported stolen from the Science Center. A bicycle was reported stolen from Matthews Hall. At Tosteson Medical Education Center, officers received information regarding a restraining order. Information was placed on file.

Oct. 9: Officers were dispatched to Peabody Terrace on a report of a theft in progress involving youths and bicycles. Officers checked the area with negative results. A bicycle and tire were recovered at the scene.

Oct. 10: At Sanders Theatre, four individuals were arrested for breaking and entering. A threat received via e-mail was reported at Comstock Hall. Officers were dispatched to Gray Hall on a report of a possible theft in progress. Security reported that a group of juveniles were tampering with a bicycle. A search of the area proved negative.

Oct. 11: A blazer was reported stolen from an unsecured supply room at the School of Public Health, Building 3. A digital camera was reported stolen from a locked office at the Science Center. An officer assisted the Boston Police Department on North Harvard Street in the search for two individuals wanted in connection with a possible assault. A bicycle was reported stolen from Harvard Hall.

Since Oct. 5, three wallets have been reported stolen. There have been four reports of suspicious or harassing phone calls.
