Extension School instructor, student join forces on ‘Supersized America’

Wojciechowski, McKneally Harvard Extension School biochemistry instructor Cheryl Wojciechowski and faculty aid and A.L.M. candidate Luke McKneally are creating a kiosk display on obesity and diet for the Current Science and Technology Center at the Museum of Science, Boston. “Supersized America” claims that obesity may soon surpass tobacco as the leading cause of health problems facing America.

At the Current Science and Technology Center, visitors can find out more about science and technology in the news and catch up on studies from the leading edge of research and exploration. Located in the blue wing of the museum, the center offers exhibits, live events, video, animation, digital updates, and live links to researchers in the field.

In addition to teaching BIOC E-110 and BIOC E-111, Wojciechowski is program manager at the Current Science and Technology Center. McKneally is a biology concentrator in the Extension School’s A.L.M. program.
