Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending April 24. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

April 18: Officers were dispatched to Mather House to take a report of a past sexual assault. The incident is under investigation by HUPD’s Criminal Investigations Division. Vandalism to a vending machine was reported at Jordan Hall.

April 19: Officers assisted the Boston Police Department with a car accident on Harvard Street. Money was reported stolen at Longfellow Hall. A credit card was reported stolen at Greenough Hall. An officer took a report at Quincy House of threats to commit a crime.

April 20: Officers assisted the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) with a medical call at Mount Auburn and DeWolfe streets.

April 21: Cash was reported stolen at 124 Mount Auburn St. Officers were dispatched to the Armenise Building 1 on a report of a spill of an unknown substance. Emergency Health &; Safety was notified and responded. The gel substance was cleaned up and the area was deemed clean.

April 22: An officer was dispatched to Lowell House to take a report of a past attempted assault. Reporting person states two individuals attempted to strike/grab him but were unsuccessful. A license plate was reported stolen at the Newell Boathouse. Cash was reported stolen at 124 Mt. Auburn St. An officer was dispatched to Converse Lab to take a report of a missing iPod and charger.

April 23: Damage to a shuttle bus window was reported on Massachusetts Avenue. A wallet was reported stolen at Andover Hall. A projector was reported stolen at Fairchild Biochemistry Lab.

April 24: Officers were dispatched to 14 Plympton St. on a report of a loud party. Occupants stated that a fight occurred with known suspects. Officer filed a report of simple assault. At Mill and Plympton Streets, an individual known to HUPD as having an outstanding warrant was stopped, identified, and taken into custody. Officers were dispatched to assist CPD with a report of a fight at Banks and Cowperthwaite Streets. CPD handled the call.

Since April 18, two laptops and two bicycles have been reported stolen. There has also been one report of harassment, two suspicious call reports, and one report of a threat received.
