Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Oct. 4. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.
Sept. 28: An officer was dispatched to Mallinckrodt Lab to take a report of fraudulent use of a lost ID card. Two pocketbooks were reported stolen at Tosteson Medical Education Center.
Sept. 29: At Countway Library, an officer assisted Boston EMS with a medical transport.
Sept. 30: Officers assisted the Boston Police Department (BPD) on a report of a person exhibiting threatening behavior at 75 St. Alphonsus St. Theft of credit card number was reported at the Museum of Comparative Zoology.
Oct. 1: A purse was reported stolen at Holyoke Center. Checks were reported stolen at 2 Mt. Auburn St. Officers dispatched on a report of a chemical spill at 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur. A personal digital assistant was reported stolen at Langdell Library. Money and credit cards were reported stolen from Yenching Library.
Oct. 2: A restraining order violation was reported at the School of Public Health. A report of vandalism was filed at Lowell House. Mail was reported stolen at 95 Prescott St. Officers assisted BPD with traffic control. A motor vehicle was reported stolen at the Hingham Street lot. A check and credit card were reported stolen at 95 Prescott St.
Oct. 3: Personal items from a motor vehicle were reported stolen at Broadway Garage. An officer assisted the Cambridge Police Department with a motor vehicle accident. A wallet was reported stolen at Teele Hall. An officer was dispatched to 16 Mellon St. on a report of a person acting suspiciously. The individual was arrested for possession of illegal substances.
Oct. 4: An officer took a report of a stolen wallet at Pforzheimer House. Vandalism was reported at 1 Western Ave.
Since Oct. 4, three bikes and two laptops have been reported stolen.
