Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the weeks beginning Aug. 18 and ending Sept. 13. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Aug. 18: An officer assisted the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) with a motor vehicle accident on Cambridge Street. Suspicious mail was reported at the Fogg Art Museum. Credit cards were reported stolen at Memorial Church and the Biology Lab.

Aug. 19: At Fay House, officers observed a person acting suspiciously. The party was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct..

Aug. 20: An officer assisted CPD and the Cambridge Fire Department (CFD) with a gas leak. A painting was reported stolen at Soldiers Field Park. Money was reported stolen at Nichols House.

Aug. 22: Officers assisted CPD with an unarmed robbery investigation at Hastings Hall. Officers assisted the Massachusetts State Police (MSP) with motor vehicle accidents on the Anderson Bridge and on Memorial Drive. Food was reported stolen at Matthews Hall..

Aug. 23: On Kennedy and Mt. Auburn streets, an officer assisted MSP with the investigation of a party harassing motorists.

Aug. 25: Tools were reported stolen at the Stadium. At the Kennedy School of Government (KSG), an officer took a report of ongoing thefts. Money was reported stolen at Tosteson Medical Education Center (MEC). At Anderson Bridge, an officer observed a group acting suspiciously. A field interview was conducted and one party was arrested after a warrant was found. The other parties were sent on their way.

Aug. 26: At 12 Ware St., an officer assisted CPD with a burglary investigation. An ID and credit card were reported stolen at 1 Eliot St. On Bryant Street, officers assisted CPD with an accident involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle.

Aug. 27: An officer assisted the Boston Police Department (BPD) with an arrest on Park Drive. Cleaning equipment was reported stolen at the Maxwell Dworkin Building.

Aug. 30: Officers assisted CPD with an arrest of a purse-snatcher at 69 Mt. Auburn St.

Sept. 1: Medicine and personal belongings were reported stolen at Tosteson MEC.

Sept. 2: Officers were dispatched to serve a restraining order at Houghton Library.

Sept. 3: Money was reported stolen at 2 Mt. Auburn St. Money and a credit card were reported stolen at McArthur Hall. A backpack was reported stolen at William James Hall. Officer assisted CPD with a possible breaking and entering at 1108 Massachusetts Ave. Identity fraud was reported at Dane Hall.

Sept. 4: A suspicious package was reported at the Warren Alpert Building.

Sept. 5: An officer observed a motor vehicle accident that resulted in damage to a building at 164 Longwood Ave. An officer assisted the Environmental Health and Safety Department with a chemical spill at 107 Ave. Louis Pasteur. Money and a credit card were reported stolen at Holmes Hall. Clothing, furniture, and household items were reported stolen at Haskins Hall. Clothing was reported stolen at Holmes Hall.

Sept. 6: An officer assisted CPD with a stolen purse investigation at 42 Mt. Auburn St. Officer assisted CPD with a medical call at the Holyoke Center. Officers were dispatched on a report of a person acting suspiciously outside Pennypacker Hall. The individual was stopped and arrested for an outstanding default warrant.

Sept. 9: An officer assisted BPD with the investigation of an armed robbery on St. Alphonsus St. Motor vehicles were reported broken into at 175 N. Harvard St. and at Teele Hall. Clothing was reported stolen at Haskins Hall.

Sept. 10: A computer monitor was reported stolen at the Faculty Club. Officer assisted BPD with the investigation of a break-in to a motor vehicle in the Business School lot.

Sept. 11: Officer observed the removal of an expelled student at Vanderbilt Hall. Officers were dispatched to assist CFD with a fire at Conant Hall. A backpack was reported stolen at Longfellow Hall.

Sept. 13: Officers assisted CPD with an investigation into a motor vehicle accident on Walker and Shepard streets. Household goods were reported stolen at 37 Kirkland St.

Since Aug. 17, 13 bicycles, three cameras, 17 laptops, one computer, one stereo, and 13 wallets have been reported stolen. There have also been 15 reports of harassment and seven reports of vandalism.
