Harvard Neighbors offers activities for all

Harvard Neighbors is a volunteer organization that has worked for more than 100 years to create a sense of community for the members of this large, decentralized university. Membership is open to active and retired Harvard faculty and staff and their spouses or partners. Through a wide variety of activities, Harvard Neighbors helps both newcomers and more established members get to know each other.

Harvard Neighbors volunteers welcome and offer support to recent arrivals, as well as plan and host a variety of social events and special activities.

  • There will be a welcoming reception for members and newcomers to the Harvard community on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Loeb House, 17 Quincy St., from 4 to 6 p.m.
  • “Drop-in Coffee Time” for newcomers will take place at the following dates and times:

  • At the Longwood Medical AreaOct. 18, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
