Police Log
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending May 6. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
April 30: An individual was arrested at North Hall for assault and battery and malicious destruction. A bicycle was stolen from Gund Hall. A bicycle was stolen from Peabody Terrace.
May 1: A laptop computer was stolen from an office at 1280 Massachusetts Ave. An individual was arrested for shoplifting at City Sports on Dunster St. A bicycle was stolen from Pound Hall. A bicycle was stolen from Gund Hall. A small chemical spill of chloroform was reported at the Biology Labs; an Environmental Health & Safety crew and staff from the Engineering Department responded for clean-up. A bicycle was stolen from the Medical Education Center (MEC) on Longwood Ave. A wallet was stolen from the Vanserg Building.
May 2: A pocketbook was stolen from Apley Court. Graffiti was discovered on a Dining Services van.
May 3: A credit card and bank card were stolen from a secured locker at the Blodgett Pool. An individual was arrested at Grays Hall for trespassing. Harvard Police assisted Cambridge Police at an attempted unarmed robbery on Massachusetts Ave.
May 4: An individual was arrested for larceny at 175 North Harvard Street after an ongoing investigation. Cash was stolen from a wallet in Larsen Hall.
May 5: An individual was arrested for vandalism at 18 JFK St. A backpack was stolen from Loker Commons. A bicycle was stolen from 20 Prescott St. A rosebush and 30 tulips were reported stolen from Loeb House. A couch was stolen from a hallway in Thayer Hall.
May 6: An individual was arrested for trespassing at Quincy House. A purse was stolen from the Science Center. A larceny was reported at the Dudley Co-op.
