Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Jeremy R. Knowles (center) speaks with Tim Cross (left) associate dean for finance and administration at the Divinity School, and Leonard Solomon, research program manager in DEAS. Solomon was among four recipients of the FAS Administrative/Professional Prize. Every two years, FAS honors up to four members of the exempt administrative and professional staff for extraordinary contributions to the Harvard community.

Established by an anonymous Harvard College alumnus and his wife, the prize awards $5,000 and one month’s paid leave, which must be used for travel. The other winners include: Dwight Miller, senior admissions officer; Catherine Cezeaux, department administrator for the Department of English and American Language and Literature; and Andrea Zirman, senior financial systems analyst for the FAS Financial Office. A reception for the winners was held at the Faculty Club on May 8.
