The Nobel Foundation and the Swedish Academy have invited S. Allen Counter, professor of neurology and director of the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations, to attend the 2016 Nobel Prize Ceremony and Royal Banquet in Stockholm City Hall on Dec. 10. Counter will meet with each of the Nobel Prize winners and extend an invitation to them to visit Harvard as guests of the students and faculty of the Harvard Foundation. In 2015, the Harvard Foundation hosted physics Nobel laureate Takaaki Kajita of Japan, and in 2014, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, both of whom Counter met at the Nobel Prize Ceremonies and invited to the University. According to tradition, each guest Nobel Laureate is hosted by student leaders and members of the Harvard Foundation Faculty Advisory Committee.
