Women who lead
Panel will examine current challenges, opportunities in business, education, politics
Harvard President Drew Faust will host a panel discussion on Monday at Sanders Theatre to consider the changing roles of women, as well as the challenges and opportunities they face, in the fields of business, education, and politics. The talk, “When Women Lead: Insights and Experience from Women in Power,” features Jill Abramson ’76, executive editor of The New York Times; Edith Cooper ’83, executive vice president and global head of human capital management at Goldman Sachs; and former secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, now president of the University of California. The moderator will be Karen Gordon Mills ’75, M.B.A. ’77, former administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration and currently a senior fellow at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.
