Free flu shots still available at University Health Services

1 min read

With the flu season currently at its peak (and the season often lasting through April), there is still plenty of time and good reason to get immunized if you have not already. Following immunization, it takes approximately 10 days to develop antibodies and be protected.

Students, retirees, and Harvard University Group Health Plan (HUGHP) members and their dependents can make an appointment with one of the Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) triage nurses, either in Cambridge or at the satellite HUHS clinics, during regular business hours. For those faculty and staff who do not have HUGHP as their insurance carrier, UHS will accept walk-in immunization requests and provide flu shots free of charge.
