Two new programs set to debut this summer
Harvard Recreation is introducing two new programs this summer, including a pedometer step challenge called Pedomination. Teams will compete to accrue the most steps each week, tracked with pedometers, allowing members to be active virtually anywhere.
Secondly, Harvard Recreation will debut an eight-week weight-loss program called the Summer Slim Down. Specially designed to be welcoming to new exercisers, this program is a multifaceted, individualized, safe, and healthy approach to weight loss through exercise. The program will include two specialized classes each week, several sessions with a personal trainer, measurement tracking and goal setting, and continual e-mail support. Members new to working out will be introduced to a wide range of exercise types and become familiar with various pieces of equipment.
