Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Oct. 25. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Oct. 19: A pocketbook containing a cell phone and eyeglasses was reported stolen from the New Research Building. Two credit cards were reported stolen from Hemenway Gym.

Oct. 20: An officer assisted the Massachusetts State Police in response to an alarm call at 2 Palace Road.

Oct. 22: Graffiti was reported on a wall at 125 Mt. Auburn St. A purse containing a cell phone and an ID was reported stolen from Langdell Hall.

Oct. 23: An iPod, cash, passport, and jewelry were reported stolen from 10 DeWolfe St. An officer observed an individual attempting to break into four motor vehicles at Harvard and Ellery streets. Officer stopped the individual and notified the Cambridge Police Department (CPD). CPD responded and took over the scene. Damage to a parking gate arm was reported at the Business School lot.

Oct. 24: Officers were dispatched to 95 Prescott St. on a report of an individual attempting to break into the caller’s apartment through a window. Caller yelled at the suspect, who then fled on foot. Officers checked the area with negative results. Damage to a door was reported at Dunster House. The unauthorized withdrawal of funds from a bank account was reported at 27 Lexington St.

Oct. 25: Six wireless headsets were reported stolen at Harkness Commons. A jacket and a cell phone were reported stolen from Soldiers Field Park. Officers were dispatched to remove an unwanted individual from Kresge Dining Hall.

Since Oct. 19, three bicycles, four laptops, and three wallets have been reported stolen.
