1 min read

The 2003 Community Gifts Through Harvard campaign raised nearly $900,000 for more than 650 agencies in Massachusetts. United Way gifts totaled nearly half of the funds, and the remainder went to other charities. The top charities chosen by employees were United Way, the Federation For Children With Special Needs, Community Works, Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts, Rosie’s Place, Victory Programs, Habitat for Humanity (Braintree), Essex County Greenbelt Association, Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the AIDS Action Committee, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, and the Phillips Brooks House Association.
