Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the weeks beginning Aug. 18 and ending Sept. 14. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Aug. 18: At Byerly Hall, three individuals were issued a trespass warning. Two of the three individuals were charged with possession of a class D substance (marijuana).

Aug. 19: An attempted breaking and entering into a vending machine was reported at Gordon Hall. A Palm Pilot was reported stolen from 260 Longwood Ave.

Aug. 20: Two reports of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle were reported at Peabody Terrace Garage. A Palm Pilot was reported stolen from Morgan Hall.

Aug. 23: Vandalism was reported at Vanderbilt Hall.

Aug. 25: At Vanderbilt Hall, $2,000 was reported stolen.

Aug. 27: A burglary to a vehicle was reported at Peabody Terrace. A wallet was reported stolen at Matthews Hall.

Aug. 28: Computer parts were reported stolen from Holyoke Center.

Aug. 29: A wallet was reported stolen from 8 Story St. A credit card was reported stolen from Malkin Athletic Center.

Aug. 30: The fraudulent use of an ATM card was reported at Hawes Hall.

Aug. 31: Luggage reported stolen from Claverly Hall was recovered on Linden Street.

Sept. 1: An officer was dispatched to Peabody Terrace on a report of four suspicious individuals. Two of the individuals were arrested for active warrants. The other two were sent on their way with trespass warnings.

Sept. 3: Patio furniture was reported stolen from Soldiers Field Park. CDs and a Sony PlayStation were reported stolen from Gallatin Hall. A motor vehicle was reported stolen from 2 Mt. Auburn St.

Sept. 6: A computer workstation was reported stolen from the Kennedy School.

Sept. 9: An officer was dispatched to University Hall on a report of a bomb threat. The incident is actively under HUPD investigation.

Sept. 10: An officer filed a report of a motor vehicle that left the scene of an accident after causing property damage at Mather House. Cash was reported stolen from Agassiz Theater.

Sept. 12: An officer extinguished a small fire at the Museum of Comparative Zoology.

Sept. 13: Vandalism to four sprinkler heads was reported at the Observatory. Clothing was reported stolen from the Spangler Building.

Fourteen bicycles were reported stolen since Aug. 18.
