Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for Aug. 21 through Sept. 15. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
Aug. 21: At Holyoke Center, officers arrested an individual for trespassing and aggravated assault. Wallets were reported stolen from the Goldenson and Warren Alpert buildings.
Aug. 22: The Cambridge Police Department reported a domestic disturbance at Peabody Terrace. Officers dispatched and arrested an individual for assault and battery.
Aug. 26: An officer was dispatched to take a report of someone throwing a brick through an Eliot House window.
Aug. 29: A fax machine was reported stolen from the Medical School’s A Building.
Aug. 30: A stereo was reported stolen from Rosovsky Hall. Credit cards were reported stolen from Wadsworth House.
Aug. 31: A wallet was reported stolen at the Kennedy School.
Sept. 1: A laptop computer was reported stolen at Adams House.
Sept. 4: A wallet was reported stolen from the Taubman Center. An officer was dispatched to Kittredge Hall to take a report of a motor vehicle accident. Computer speakers and a keyboard were reported stolen from the Kennedy School.
Sept. 5: A sexual assault was reported at 49 Fenwood Rd. HUPD is assisting Boston Police with the investigation.
At Langdell Library, an officer was dispatched to take a report of a stolen backpack. Item was recovered, but a wallet was missing.
Sept. 6: Four laptop computers were reported stolen from Shad Hall. An individual with an active warrant was placed under arrest at the Science Center Mall.
Sept. 7: At Coolidge Hall, an individual was placed under arrest for trespassing and for an active warrant. A change machine was reported stolen from the Seely Mudd Building. Credit cards were reported stolen at Loker Commons. Practice jerseys were reported stolen from the Dillon Field House. A wallet was reported stolen in Harvard Yard.
Sept. 9: Officers were dispatched to a report of a large canister of helium that had been found at Massachusetts Hall. Canister to be picked up the following morning.
Sept. 10: A box of T-shirts was reported stolen from 200 Longwood Ave. An individual with a warrant was arrested at Holyoke Center.
Sept. 11: A wallet was reported stolen from Radcliffe Quad. A book bag was reported stolen at the Fogg Museum. At JFK Park, an individual was arrested for indecent exposure. Two individuals were arrested for the possession of marijuana at the Apley Court parking lot.
At Widener Library, HUPD officers assisted MBTA police with a suspect who assaulted a bus driver. Suspect was arrested by the MBTA police.
Sept. 13: Laptop computers were reported stolen from Building 3 at the School of Public Health and the Science Center. Printer supplies were reported stolen from the Belfer Center. A chair was reported stolen from the Quincy House storage area.
Sept. 14: An officer was dispatched to the Holyoke Center to investigate a bomb threat. Cambridge Police and Fire departments were also on scene. The call was determined to be unfounded.
An officer responded to a bomb threat reported at Gordon Hall. Boston Fire Department was notified and responded. The building was checked and reported clear by officers.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious package outside Emerson Hall. Officers reported the call to be unfounded.
Sept. 15: Officers dispatched to a fire in progress at Tosteson Medical Education Center. Boston Fire Department responded. Cause of the fire was reported to be an emergency generator on the rooftop mechanical room. Notifications were made and a report was filed.
At the Kennedy School, cash was reported missing from a book bag.
