Police Log

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD). The official log is located at 29 Garden St.

Nov. 13: Two bicycles were reported stolen from Ames Hall and Blodgett Pool. A laptop was reported stolen from 124 Mt. Auburn St. At Hemenway Gym, a wallet was reported stolen.

Nov. 14: A bicycle was reported stolen from the Kennedy School.

Nov. 15: A caller reported a person with bolt cutters at the Adams House bike rack. A field interview was conducted.

Nov. 16: At Loker Commons a purse was reported stolen. A bicycle was reported stolen from Ames Hall. A painting was reported stolen from Gund Hall. An officer took a report of a stolen motor vehicle at the Soldiers Field visitor lot.

Nov. 18: Two wallets were reported stolen during a dance at the Mather House. Security reported a group of individuals climbing the John Harvard statue. Officers located the individuals, who were not connected with the University, behind Phillips Brooks House. The group was spoken to and sent on their way. A bicycle was reported stolen from the Laboratory for Human Reproduction and Reproductive Biology at the Medical School.Officers extinguished a bonfire at the Soldiers Field parking lot. A caller reported a barrel had caught fire at the Mather House. The fire was extinguished. Cambridge Fire Department was notified and responded.

Nov. 20: At 124 Mt. Auburn St., an officer took a report of stolen computers. Contents of a wallet were reported stolen at Dunster House Dining Hall.

Nov. 21: An officer took a report of a bomb threat at the Semitic Museum. A confidential sexual assault report was received. CID is investigating the incident as a sexual assault by acquaintance. Nov. 22: A VCR was reported stolen from the Schlesinger Library. At the Dental School, a wallet was reported stolen. Officers took reports of a past bike larceny at the Warren Alpert Building and of a past wallet larceny at the Malkin Athletic Center. Nov. 25: A laptop was reported stolen from the woman’s hockey office at Bright Hockey Center.
