Police Log
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending April 22. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
April 16: An individual was arrested for simple assault at Peabody Terrace. Two men were caught spraying fire extinguishers in Claverly Hall; both were identified and will pay restitution for repairs and cleanup. Boston Police caught three men on the roof of 219 Western Ave. in connection with a larceny that also involved a chemical spill. Environmental Health and Safety was alerted. An individual reported that he was assaulted by a party known to him at the Berens Tennis Center.
April 17: A bicycle was stolen from a bike rack at Gund Hall.
April 18: A car was reported stolen from the Cowperthwaite Lot.
April 19: Numerous mailboxes and several classrooms in Emerson Hall were vandalized. The criminal investigations unit responded and photographed the damaged areas. A wallet was stolen from a jacket in Gutman Library.
April 20: Vandals wrote in chalk in several locations of Sever Hall. A canvas bag was stolen from Malkin Athletic Center.
