HarvardX comes to Longwood on March 28

Harvard faculty members and instructors are invited to attend to a HarvardX Town Hall meeting on course development and research at the Longwood Campus. The Town Hall will take place on Thursday, March 28 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Harvard School of Public Health, Kresge Building Room G2, 677 Huntington Avenue.

The Town Hall will be facilitated by Rob Lue, faculty director of HarvardX. The tentative agenda is as follows:

• An intro to edX/HarvardX
• Integrating HarvardX into a school’s educational strategy
• Components of a HarvardX course or module
• Developing and offering a HarvardX course or module
• The faculty perspective
• Group discussion of course content ideas and modes of assessment (current options and future directions)
