Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Oct. 3. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.
Sept. 27: At Lowell House, a video and digital camera and six DVDs were reported stolen. $200 was reported stolen from a cash register at Vanderbilt Hall. An unattended cell phone was reported stolen from the Warren Alpert Building. A digital camera was reported stolen from Claverly Hall.
Sept. 28: An unattended laptop was reported stolen from Pierce Hall. Officers observed an individual acting suspiciously in the area of Byerly Hall. Officers conducted a field interview and found the individual to be in possession of a class D substance. The individual was checked for warrants with negative results. Criminal complaints will be sought.
Sept. 29: Ongoing, annoying phone calls were reported received at Dillon Field House and Thayer Hall. A parking gate arm was reported damaged at Soldiers Field Park garage.
Sept. 30: A cell phone was reported stolen from Cabot House. A laptop was reported stolen from Hilles Library.
Oct. 1: $560 in cash was reported stolen from Mather House. A cell phone was reported stolen from Pound Building.
Oct. 2: Damage to stairwell railings at Cabot House was reported.
Oct. 3: Vandalism to a window was reported at the Office of Continuing Education. A package delivered to Peabody Terrace was reported stolen. A parking gate arm was reported damaged at the Spangler Center. An officer was dispatched to the Hingham Street lot to take a report of contents stolen from a motor vehicle.
Since Sept. 27, five bicycles and one bicycle wheel have been reported stolen.
