Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Nov. 8. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Nov. 2: Several unattended items including a jacket, a digital camera, and a passport were reported stolen from Gund Hall. A parking permit was reported stolen from the Broadway garage. Two video cameras, a laptop and desktop computer, and a digital camera were reported stolen from Palmer Dixon Tennis Court.

Nov. 3: Officers were called to 14 Mellon St. to assist the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) in arresting an individual who had violated a restraining order.

Nov. 4: A stolen motor vehicle was recovered at the Akron Street lot. An IBM ThinkPad and docking station were reported stolen at Humphrey House. A wallet was reported stolen at the Vanserg Building. An officer investigating a found wallet at 260 Longwood Ave. reported that the wallet had been previously stolen. The wallet was missing $55.

Nov. 5: A suede jacket was reported stolen from the Spangler Building. Unattended cash was reported stolen from Shad Hall. Construction tools were reported stolen from Harkness Commons. Glass lab containers were reported stolen from the New Research Building. Two harassing phone calls were reported received on a cell phone at Canaday Hall.

Nov. 6: An officer assisted the Massachusetts State Police on a report of a motor vehicle accident at 709 Soldiers Field Road. An officer was dispatched to Mather House to take a report of a damaged bicycle and stolen helmet. At the Business School lot, a report of property damage to a gate-access arm by a motor vehicle was filed. An officer responded to a report of an individual who had removed parking passes from a booth at the stadium. The officer checked the individual for warrants with negative results and issued them a trespass warning for all Harvard property. The parking passes were returned to the booth. Larceny charges may be filed. At 50 Trowbridge St., officers assisted CPD in the search of a suspect wanted in connection with a breaking and entering at a different location. Suspect was located and then arrested by CPD.

Nov. 8: At Eliot and Winthrop streets, officers assisted CPD with the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery. An officer was dispatched to Lavietes Pavillion to take a report of forced entry and the theft of four laptop computers, one video camera, two athletic bags, one Palm Pilot, and a set of computer speakers. Vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported at Soldiers Field Park garage. A TV was reported stolen at Wolbach Hall.

Since Nov. 2, four bicycles, five laptops, and three video cameras have been reported stolen.
