According to a report taken by the Massachusetts State Police, on Nov. 20, between approximately 6:40 and 6:50 p.m., a Harvard undergraduate was the victim of an armed robbery in JFK Park. The student reported that while he was walking through the park, three individuals asked him the time and then assaulted him. One of the suspects produced a knife, threatened the student, and demanded his wallet.

The suspects took the student’s wallet, laptop and carrying case, and cell phone, before telling the student to walk toward the Charles Hotel. The suspects walked to John F. Kennedy Street with the stolen items, but their direction of flight from that point is unknown.

The victim described the three suspects as black males, one of whom was approximately 6 feet tall and 300 pounds. Further information provided to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) indicates that all the suspects were in their mid-20s, and the heavyset suspect was wearing an all black track/running suit.
