Police Log

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Saturday, Oct. 28. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.

Oct. 22: A suspect was apprehended in connection with throwing a brick through a window at Canaday Hall. A wallet was reported stolen from the Loeb House. A bicycle was reported stolen at Peabody Terrace.

A possible breaking and entering occurred at 60 Kennedy St. Officers responding to an alarm at that address discovered the basement window had been smashed with a brick. The on call detective was called in to investigate.

Oct. 23: A package was reported stolen at 10 Fernald Drive.

An organizer was reported stolen from 124 Mt. Auburn St. Bicycle parts were reported stolen from the Peabody Terrace Garage. A bicycle was reported stolen from the Warren Alpert building.

Oct. 25: A cellular phone was reported stolen at the Pforzheimer House. Two-hundred and fifty dollars was reported stolen from a locker at Hemenway Gym.

Oct. 26: An undisclosed amount of cash was reportedly taken from a safe at Shad Hall. A book bag was reported stolen from an office at the C1 Building, Longwood Campus. An I.D. card was reported stolen from the Lamont Library.

Oct. 27: A bicycle was reported stolen from the Mather House.

Oct. 28: A caller reported individuals stuck in an elevator at Leverett Towers. Occupants were out of the elevator before the officer arrived. Facilities responded and the elevator was shut down for the evening.

Two individuals are sought in connection with simple assault and public urination in the lobby of Claverly Hall. The reporting person stated that the two suspects were urinating in the lobby of the building, pushed the reporting person, and then fled the scene.
