Harvard second in the US in scholarly output on library and information sciences

According to a recent study by Thomson Reuters, Harvard is one of the top universities in the United States for scholarly output in library and information science, contributing the second-highest number of papers to academic journals in the field between 2009 and 2013.

Indiana, the top school on the list, has its own library and information science program; at number two overall, Harvard is also the top university without its own library studies program.
