Harvard faculty to offer a multidisciplinary welcome at GSAS Alumni Day

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is inviting alumni from across its 57 disciplines to return to Cambridge for Alumni Day on April 14, 2012. The day will begin with a keynote address by climate change expert Daniel P. Schrag, the Sturgis Hooper Professor of Geology and — as the director of the Center for the Environment — one of Harvard’s leading voices on energy policy, the future of energy, and environmental change.

The day will include a festive luncheon at the Harvard Faculty Club followed by faculty symposia on topics ranging from fairy tales in the electronic entertainment age to the growth of social inequality in America. The participating faculty are Alvin RothMaria TatarTing Wu ’76, Ph.D. ’85, Robert Putnam, David Malan ’99, Ph.D. ’07, and Charles Davis, Ph.D. ’02.
