Common Spaces kicks off spring season
From exercise to entertainment, there’s something for everyone
It’s a sure sign of spring when the Harvard community welcomes the return of the University’s Common Spaces Pop-up Performance Series. With an April 8 kickoff, this year will feature six weeks of lunchtime entertainment on the plaza, located just outside Harvard’s Science Center.
The Common Spaces stage will present student ensembles, singer/songwriters, and performers from the A.R.T. Institute every Tuesday and Friday at noon. Hungry? A variety of food truck options will be rolling in to fulfill your culinary desires.
You can also de-stress this spring by taking advantage of Wellness Wednesdays. This new program, developed in coordination with the Harvard University Health Services Center for Wellness, will offer free relaxation classes, exercise boot camps, yoga, Zumba, an introduction to Qigong, and much more.
And as always, the popular Common Spaces chairs are returning to locations across the Cambridge campus, where they’ll reside until fall.
