Giurini named President of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

John M. Giurini, Chief of the Division of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Associate Professor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School was installed this week as president of the 6,000-member American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS).

Giurini took office at the ACFAS 66th Annual Scientific Conference in Long Beach. Dr. Giurini described the conference as “a time when foot and ankle surgeons from across the country can discuss challenging cases and new surgical approaches with leading experts in the field.”
