Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Oct. 16. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Oct. 12: An officer was dispatched to 20 DeWolfe St. to take a report of a stolen digital camera, MP3 player, laptop bag, graphing calculator, and iPod Nano. An officer was dispatched to Newell Boathouse to take a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The officer later observed a parked vehicle with a shattered window. The officer also observed that the ignition had been torn out and the radio removed. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and updated about the status of the vehicle. An officer took a report at Quincy House of a past indecent assault.

Oct. 13: An officer was dispatched to 24 Oxford St. to take a theft report of 800 feet of copper stud machine lead, 400 feet of copper welding lead, and four torque control guns. Total value of the items is $20,600.

Oct. 14: Officers were dispatched to Holworthy Hall East on a report of a suspicious individual in the area. Officers arrived and observed an individual in possession of a backpack climbing out from under a walkway. After observing the officers, the individual dropped the backpack and began to flee the area. Officers apprehended the individual and placed him under arrest. Officers then returned to the location where the individual was first seen and conducted a search for other suspects (with negative results). Officers observed a construction trailer with the door open, lights on, and various cooper piping items that had been put into a trash barrel for removal. Officers also observed damage done to two doors leading to the offices and bolt cutters. The suspect was charged with nighttime breaking and entering with intent to commit felony (three counts), larceny, and possession of burglar tools. A women’s wallet was reported stolen from 62 Linnaean St. The wallet was later located with only an ATM card missing. At 29 Garden St., officers arrested an individual for domestic assault and battery that had just occurred.

Oct. 15: At Leverett House, two suspects made off with a digital camera and three ATM cards in the theft of a canvas bag. A search of the area turned up negative results.

Oct. 16: Damage to a motor vehicle caused by a parking gate arm at 111 Western Ave. was reported. A pair of headphones, an MP3 player, and an iPod case were reported stolen from the Science Center.

Since Oct. 12, three bicycles have been reported stolen.
